Inspirez-vous de la broderie japonaise, inventée à l'origine pour isoler et réparer les vêtements et combiner le style country avec des motifs complexes. Utilisez la technique de broderie sur tissu patchwork pour rafraîchir les vêtements. Cousez avec du fil à broder. N'oubliez pas de coudre avec des aiguilles dont la longueur n'est pas trop similaire, tant que les rangs sont droits.

Comment faire
1 Trouvez une veste en jean dans votre placard ou dans une brocante.
2 Draw a template onto baking paper to fit the area onto which you wish to attach your patchwork fabric.
3 Cut out the template from fabric.
4 Fold in the fabric by 1 cm all the way along the edge and press with an iron.
5 Attach the adhesive side of vliesofix onto the fabric. Use a warm iron on the paper side for approx. 5 seconds to join the vliesofix and the fabric together.
6 Trim the excess vliesofix and remove the protective paper on the vliesofix. Attach the fabric with the sticky vliesofix side onto the jeans jacket, using a warm iron.
7 Also iron a small piece of fabric (with ironed-on vliesofix) onto the cuff. Use a sewing machine to attach the pieces of fabric approx. 3 mm from the edge all the way around.
8 Divide the embroidery floss in two (each with three threads). Use a long needle to embroider small tacking stitches in a straight line with the embroidery floss, beginning and finished outside the patchwork fabric. Explore with embroidery floss in different colours and shades.
